My Practice

Homeopathy in a peaceful courtyard setting

Established in 2006, my practice is based in Empshott, Hampshire, with consultations being held in a peaceful courtyard setting, amidst the beautiful countryside of the Hampshire Hangers and the South Downs National Park.

Empshott, a mile from Selborne,  is about 10 minutes from Petersfield, Alton, Liphook and Bordon; and a little further from Haslemere, Farnham and Midhurst.

Initial consultations last about 1½ hours. During the first appointment we discuss your full health history, including any medication you are on, as well as details of any previous health problems in your family, going back to your grandparents (or further if you know about them!).   Understanding what makes your complaint better or worse, as well as your feelings, your general energy level, your sleep, your likes and dislikes and your lifestyle all help me build a picture of you as a person and match this to a remedy for your needs. Homeopathy takes a holistic approach to health and some of my questions may seem unrelated to your complaint, but the consultation provides me with information needed to choose the remedy most appropriate for the whole you. Homeopathic consultations give you time to talk in depth and be listened to, confidentially, with respect, without judgement. Take this opportunity to talk about your life in this supportive setting.

Subsequent consultations last about ½ – ¾ hour. These allow us to evaluate your response to the remedy and general progress. The first of these is usually about 4-6 weeks after our initial meeting and any further treatments will be discussed at this stage.   Once well, you may just like a “maintenance check” every six or 12 months. Response to treatment varies greatly between individuals, depending on each person’s make up as well as the nature and length of the complaint being experienced and other treatments that are being undertaken.

Fees range between £20 and £60.
